Yearbook:


In this class, students will produce a traditional school yearbook. Students will be responsible for writing, editing, taking photographs, and the advertisements required for the publication of the yearbook. Fundamentals of yearbook production will be covered during the first quarter; work on the yearbook will continue throughout the year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Photo Journalism:

This course is designed to help students take better photographs and to focus on the story behind these photographs. A brief history of photography will be covered as well as looking at various camera types and formats. Students will take a variety of photos and learn the techniques for developing and printing film.

 

 

 

 

 

 

English III:

This course looks at the chronological development of American Literature through speaking and writing activities. Composition activities focus on refining writing skills and location information.

 

 

 

 

 

British Literature:

This course explores the wide range of literature produced by some of the greatest British authors with an emphasis on the relationship between the literary world and the real world. Students will interpret and evaluate literary works using techniques that will meet with college and university standards.
